If you’ve looked outside today, you know that we have that pretty white snow blanketing Yardley and many other areas of Bucks County. Other than building a snowman and having a snowball fight, what else can you do with snow?

1. Make some homemade candy. This is a really delicious way to enjoy the cold snow. Simply heat up some pure maple syrup, then drizzle it directly on snow until it hardens. You will then be treated to homemade maple candy!


2. Light a fire in the snow. Use dry wood and you may need lighter fluid from your grill. Watch the fire reflect off the snow and melt it, and roast some marshmallows.


3. Paint! Fill some old plastic spray bottles with water and food coloring, and create a masterpiece right in the snow.


4. Take a relaxing walk, either through your neighborhood or even in the woods. Look for animal tracks along the way.


5. Build a snow fort.


6. Bake cookies and watch a movie. Sometimes the best thing to do is cuddle up inside and stay warm, while enjoying the time together.
