It’s Getting Hotter – Ways To Stay Cool
Sitting inside your living room on a hot Saturday gets boring sometimes in the summer – especially if you have children in the house. Here are some ways you can keep the entire family occupied – and cool – in Bucks County this summer! We have several water parks and river tubing opportunities throughout our area – and all are within quite reasonable driving distances.
I have researched a couple of places located in Bucks County as well as nearby New Jersey, all of which provide ways to stay cool and have some summer fun.
Bucks County River Country, provides river adventures for all ages through tubing, canoeing, kayaks, rafts and the new snuggle tube – which is especially made for couples or riding with a younger child. It is located at 2 Walters Lane in Point Pleasant, PA.
Sahara Sam’s Indoor and Outdoor Water Park offers water slides, obstacle courses, toddler splash pools, a ropes course, wave pool and more – which may be enjoyed year-round. There are various café and drink stands throughout the park as well. Sahara Sam’s is located at 535 N. Route 73 in West Berlin, NJ.
Sesame Place is perfect for young children, and has a wonderful water park that can be enjoyed by all ages. There are water slides, a lazy river, raft ride and a splash park. Sesame Place is located at 100 Sesame Road in Langhorne.
