It’s Time For Summer, Spring, Anything Other Than This
No doubt about it – I think I speak for everyone throughout Bucks County when I say we’ve had our fill of snow this year. It almost seems as if every time you look out the window, our yards are covered in a white and fluffy blanket (and in some cases, that blanket has ice).
So, let’s talk about spring and summer. Before you know it, those two seasons will actually be here. Right now it doesn’t seem as if they will ever get here – but they will!
I’ve talked in the past about preparing for spring (cleaning out your closets, getting spring cleaning done early, etc). Many of us at this point are a little tired of being snowed into our homes, so let’s talk about being outside in the warm sun.
Start planning what you are going to do in the spring – and even this coming summer. Plan your family vacation, your garden (even if you have never had one before – it’s always a good time to start), start looking at new grills for those family cookouts – these plans get you feeling much warmer (you may want to close your curtains so you don’t have to look outside). When it gets a little warmer, and if you are thinking of planting a garden this year, take a walk outside and plan where you would like to see it grow. Even think about exactly what kind of flowers, fruits or vegetables you would like to plant - perhaps daisies, tomatoes or strawberries. Before you know it, the “s” word will be completely gone for the season! Thankfully, we will all be associating it with Spring and Summer while we enjoy the bright and warm Sunshine!
