Rainy Day? Things to do while you’re stuck inside
Rainy days happen in Bucks County – especially during springtime. However, even though you’re stuck inside on that rainy Saturday and can’t work in the yard or clean the pool, there are several other things you can do throughout your home.
Great things to do on a rainy day include but are definitely not limited to:
Cleaning out closets – A rainy day is the perfect opportunity to get rid of clothes you haven’t worn in a long time or that your kids have outgrown. Those clothes can be donated to several organizations throughout Bucks County such as the Goodwill or Once Upon A Child.
Create new games to play with your kids or grandkids – Being inside the house doesn’t mean you have to go stir crazy! Create some new games that you will treasure for a lifetime such as Newspaper Golf and indoor obstacle courses can make the day go faster. If your kids are a little older, try creating your own version of Minute To Win It.
Rearrange your furniture or redecorate a room – Sometimes giving a room a new look can make all the difference. Move some furniture around or redecorate in your living room, family room, or even a spare bedroom to see if you can give it a complete makeover.
Enjoy the rain – As silly as it may seem, it is quite relaxing to listen to the raindrops. If you have an enclosed porch or deck, sit outside in it for a little while and enjoy the fresh air and rainfall.
